In November, we immersed ourselves in an exciting Transportation theme that captivated the curiosity and enthusiasm of our young learners. This favorite theme provided a vibrant backdrop for integrating academic concepts seamlessly into our curriculum. The month began with bursts of creativity as classrooms buzzed with lively process art projects like ‘fluffy art’ and ‘Drawing with cars.’ Young learners joyfully crafted their paper plate cars, exploring creativity as they drove them around the classrooms. Outdoor activities such as traffic rules-themed teacher-directed outdoor play in the playground seamlessly transitioned into a lively traffic light art activity at their class tables 🚦....

TK(Transitional Kindergarten) CHILD is losing or gaining??
The age criteria for kindergarten admission in Bay Area is that the child has to be 5 years old by Sept 1st. What if your child’s birthday is September 2nd? Bummer! Your child can only go to kindergarten in the following year! Isn’t that a disappointing loss?! There’s something called Transitional Kindergarten (TK) that is offered. But even after attending TK, the child has to attend another year of Kindergarten before going to First grade. I hear many parents freak out about their TK-age child’s lost year and lost opportunity, especially if their child is already reading, writing, and demonstrating...
Earth Day
April 22nd marks a special day for our planet – Earth Day. It’s an annual event celebrated globally to raise awareness about the significance of preserving our environment. At our preschool, we believe that it’s never too early to teach young children about the importance of taking care of our planet. To celebrate Earth Day, we organized a range of engaging activities for children of all age groups. Our littlest learners, the infants, explored the world through a mess-free painting activity, while our toddlers got hands-on with sensory play using flowers, leaves, and insects. Our preschoolers engaged in a variety...

Children found it interesting when teachers asked them to use flower petals as stamps to print on paper, flower twigs as painting brushes, and the stem...
